Griffin Wong grew up in Calgary Canada and as a senior at Western Canada High School, he currently attends the IB program. His passion and desire for debate began at an early age and resulted in the startup of the UpRoar Debate foundation. Griffin seeks to help students develop confidence in public speaking as well as hone their debate skills.
Some notable accolades Griffin has accomplished include having participated in the National BP tournament in grade 11 as well as being the highest placing Alberta team in the tournament. Moreover, in August of 2020, Griffin qualified for the Canadian national debating team, competing in international tournaments such as the European Competition and finishing first overall.
