Jeff Davison, a Calgary-born-native, comes from a background of heavy involvement in the community and Calgary’s business sector. After graduating from the University of Calgary in 2003 with a communications degree, Jeff worked at a variety of different companies and nonprofits, ranging from Canadian Natural Resources Unlimited to the Missing Children Society of Canada to LMNO Communications, his own Calgary based advertising company.

After spending twenty years in the energy and technology sector, Jeff was elected to Calgary’s City Council. From the moment he arrived, Jeff’s impact was clear. His support for the city’s creative media and digital media industry has helped The Calgary Film Centre, of which he is the director, grow fivefold. Moreover, he was the vice-chair of the Green Line LRT Committee, which recently approved one of the biggest municipal infrastructure projects in Canadian history.

Now, in 2021, from being the Chair of the Transportation and Transit Committee to being a member of the Opportunity Calgary Investment Fund, Jeff’s work has benefited the lives of Calgarians in many ways.
On May, 12, 2021, Jeff Davison announced his bid for the Calgary’s 2021 Mayoral Election. He runs on a progressive platform that promotes business and job growth within the city that are outside of the oil and gas field, particularly in the clean energy field. He also supports a low tax rate but supports a larger tax base.
Jeff lives with his wife and three kids in Ward 6, which he is the councilor for in Calgary’s City Council.
